Hi all,

Just came back from a visit to the Air & Space Museum in Dulles and saw some old jeeps from the second world war and it was love at first sight!

I know nothing about working on cars, know nothing about off-roading but have been curious about it for some time, and eventually want to own a jeep. Wondering if anyone might be working on a jeep and might need an extra-hand while teaching me as I'd like to discover this new hobby.

I currently live in Fairfax and have no garage. Everyone knows about the area so there are some limitations to owning a second vehicle, let alone owning the space to work on it.

Would anyone need and/or be willing to take on an apprentice to teach anything/everything about working on and restoring jeeps from any point in history?

Would appreciate any advice/direction!
