Does anyone know of a place to rent campers or pop up trailers?

There's a place out here on Valley Ave across from Winchester Ford that rents Class C motor homes. For the uninitiated a Class C is the van front style . Liook to be about 26-28 footers, which means they'll sleep at least 6.

I can get a Phone # if you want. I've never seen anyone that rents pop-ups but that's not to say there's not anyone out there

I think outdoor rec on FT Belvoir rents out popups but only to military ID card holders. Ill look around for you and post up if I find anything.

IIRC, there was a place on 28 in Manassas too.

Can't remember the name though.

I believe it rented Rv's.

Looks like a franchise that is affiliated with the place blthomas mentioned in Manassas. Rents BIG motor homes, van type RV's that sleep 5 and trailers that sleep 5. Your 'Burban should pull it. Diddent see any pop ups. Ill keep looking.

Yo might also want to to check out:

www.rvrentalsofamerica.com and www.elmonterv.com looks like they both rent RV's in the DC area. No popups though.

Depends on how far you want to go, Smith Mountain Lake in Southwestern VA, has house boat rentals and runs anywhere from 1500-2500/week for a house boat that will sleep a family of 10, and you can tow your own personal boat(s) behind it for the week. You only then have to pay for gas for the generator and engine's.

You also have Lake Gaston in NC that offers the same option's and a few lake's in TN that you can do this also. If you are looking for a road trip, you have Lake Hartwell in SC/GA (on the border) that is gorgeous.
