Nice to see new folks jumping up on the map.
I've been wheeling for about 13 years now. I have a 1987 YJ with a bunch of crap done to it, (Axles, gears, T-case, etc). A never ending process . . .
I've was a trail guide at Camp Jeep for the last 5 years when it was down in Va. I also work at Rausch Creek as a trail Guide there on the "open wheeling" weekends. I've been through the Tread Lightly! Master Trainer Course and am now certifiable . . . And currently I'm a member of the Maryland Creepers.
We used to wheel at the old Land Rover Test Course down on 214, before they sold the property and closed it up. Was out at Coca-cola drive also once, but had a long discussion with the HoCo and AACo police, and decided not to go there anymore. Also went to Yellowgates once and met some of AACo's finest with an AR-15 drawn down on me. Long story, but I found out the hard way that there is no good legal wheeling in Md.
You guys put a nice site together. Hope to meet some of you folks at the D.C. Auto show this weekend.
