Where's a decent/cheap place locally (DC/bethesda) to get jeep parts? I need to pickup a set of tow hooks for our WK. If not local, who's got the best prices online?

Your best local is the STEALERship, or get on q-tec... they usually ship within a day.

If you don't wanna pay stealership prices and can't find them at Quadratec, try www.mileoneparts.com. I saw them on there for $92.

Don't think the XJ style will fit (but THANKS for the offer!)
I had to special order from a $tealership (courtesy in rockville) and they'll supposedly be here by Friday afternoon. Seems they can get next-day deliveries from the parts depot up in NJ if the order goes in before 2:30 or so. Which, of course, was no good when I called at 3:15. Grrrrr....
But at least it's good to know there's quick delivery for other dealer-only sorts of stuff.
I suppose my next round of purchases will be skid plates and such. Probably won't do the lift until Spring. The wife's far more likely to "let me" pickup an XJ beater rather than fiddle with the new WK. I'd turn my ancient 84 XJ into said beast but it's really past it's prime. Besides being only a 3.4L V6 auto. That and no sooner do I take delivery of the WK but the XJ spontaneously shatters it's rear window. Who says vehicles don't get jealous...
