Okay, On October 29th, I'm going to open up the shop for club members to work on their heeps, or just hang out. the address is:

I'll be there at 10am, and plan on hanging out/working on my jeep most of the day. I know that Stowe is dragging his YJ down as well, so we'll definitely need all the help we can get! I have an office area with cable, so for lunch we can hang out inside, watch foozball, and eat pizza.....

I may come by for a bit. One of those nubs that was welded on to my front driveshaft got lopped off at Pott's Mt (I assume they are to balance the driveshaft). I think that's what's causing my driveline vibe, any chance of getting a new one welded on?

I'm working on getting the rear axle wrapped up, but if I cant get it done in time, no biggie.

Drive shaft orders went in today... one is getting lengthened and other totally rebuild and shortened. He said that they will try and get it done before Sat., but he did warn me that they are oddly busy right now.

I have left messages for two of my Uncles for a tow on Sunday morning.

I usually call my insurance company and they have no issues with towing it... but this time they kinda called me out by telling me I have towed it 17 times back and forth.... so they told me to chill till next year. Im going to barrow Mike's tow bar so it will be a flat tow... I will pay for your gas back and forth.

Since it is just pulling... I dont see why not. I know Twiss from NoVa flat towed his a XJ with his YJ from Annapolis to Fairfax City with no issues.

Jeep is ready to be towed... I will be there about 7:30/8 am to check diff fluid levels and tighten bolts and to shoot the cat that has been sleeping on my seat!!

So... why dont you both plan on being there just incase something happens and the other cant make it. :)

The rear axle is just about finished... need to put the shims in and get the caliper mounts trimmed to fix the axle tube and to fit the caliper... thanks for not finding the other one THUMP! Got some missing bolts taken care of and a bunch tightened.

Sparky got some cardboard cut outs for some shifter issue he is going to try and work out. Thanks for all of your help today.. greatly appreciated!!

Deigo.... Deigo pulled a Brendon.... came around and left and never came back... Geesh. :) He did get thing on for the ARB so that what a great help. Thanks.

Mike... your Jeep is very clean. :D That really sucks that you forgot about Daylight savings time on your only day off, but thanks for your help.

Dan... couldnt thank you enough for your hosting and your helping out with everything and sorry we kept you so late... Im sure you really wanted to mow your lawn!!!

I will be working on it all week. Changing the burnt to a crisp starter relay, hooking up gauges, setting up the ARB manifold and O2 bottle...etc...

(im just kiddin) But hey cant complain still a good day and look on the bright side you got at least some stuff done which puts you closer to being back on the road!!! Oh and yes I was able to wire up the sub WITHOUT FIRE, Dan did have to remind me I had the REM wire hooked up to the wrong one though lol :lol:

Yeah that is going to be one of the first things I am going to do in the morning... just cleaning up everything... then replacing the starter relay and then this and that.... it would be nice if I when I replace the relay that i starts... but nothing is ever that easy. Hahaha

They just enjoyed watching me spaz out haha. And stowe you could always go the quick fix route and just buy some carpeting and hide all the wire lol. I think once you get all those wires hidden it will look a lot better, plus you wont have to worry about tripping and disconecting a wire haha.
