Nothing in it now. When I 1st found it, had a built 428 big block. But I was haggling through emails and phone calls.
Dude wanted $2k. I didn't want to throw down.
He sold the motor and trans. I bought the truck for $300. 8 lug hpd44, d60, 3.54 gears, divorced 205.
No bed, gonna build a flatbed with a pre-runner style spare carrier, and some built in tool boxes.
I have parted the 2 red trucks I had here.
Kept the 460 from the one, and have a np435/np205 in good shape. Will drop those in and go from there.

Still doing some final tinkering, but gonna hang on to it for now. Probably be a dedicated tow rig. Fixed a wiring short I had this weekend, and hope to have a working radio in it by next weekend.
Also have a tire problem to sort out, but should have that done this week. I broke the $2k mark with the tires on the blue truck.
Hoping to have the 65' up and running for $1500-$2000 total.
Got some used but in good shape 33's tonight on 8 lug steelies for the 65', that was a freebie........we are on our way!
Hope to have it here by Christmas weekend, got lots of other little things to do before that gets pushed in the garage.
One of my neighbors asked "wouldn't you be ahead to just buy something new?".
Ah no. Defeats the whole purpose. I love the idea of having less that $5k invested between my CJ and the F350. Go ahead and drive that 60k truck bro. I'm good over here with my cheap junk. :D

Think it was from 80' or 81' around the time he 1st got it. Was a Wyoming State plow truck, completely unmolested.
Stayed that way until her dropped the 428 in it, by that time they had relocated from Texas to Virginia and the rust had started to get to it.
Started to restore it and then lost his job, economy slowed, work was slow. And it is finding it's way to me......:first:
