I think a 98 is zj right? anyway my dad has a 98 Grand Cherokee Lerado and his brakes feel weird, like they "pulse" i'm guessing the rotors are shot, but he said he has to replace them a lot, and that they all suck.

is there any aftermarket rotors/calipers etc.. that someone can suggest? or even a conversion or something? he has always complained about the breaks on it.

Any info would be great!

The reason they need to be replaced all the time is not torquing the wheels in a star shape pattern to the specified torque. This needs to be done every time a wheel has been removed. If it is not the rotor will warp after about 100 miles and then begin to pulsate.

he said he has to do that to keep them from warping, but they still end up warping he said:( but even without warping, he complains about stopping power.
