I am looking to go whelling on the 6th of Aug. I know it is short notice but it is about the only day I have avalible before I go back to Korea. Frankpapa and I were looking at doing flagpole, who is down?

We will be there in T's TJ. Supposed to be at the beach, but the campgrounds we like are all full leaving us with expensive options.

so far i'm 99.9% sure I'm in. Got half the new JK lifted last night and should finish the other half this evening. got a new front bumper that should hopefully fit and then i can put my winch on. might not have time to fab the engine skid to fit, but don't think i'll need it for this run. i'll be rolling solo so if anyone wants to tag along that is cool with me, they can be the first to experience the new JK power:)

Just a reminder to everyone. The trails in GWNF are public roads. Stick to the trails. It's illegal (and not treading lightly) to get off the trails. Rangers will write tickets and it gives the 4WD community a bad name.

(If you've ever participated in one of our GWNF clean up events, you know it's NOT the 4WD community that's leaving trash behind. Still worth a reminder -- if you carry it in, carry it out.)

gotta bail... ran into a small fuel issue.. as in I can't fill the tank completely up because it starts to drip out of the old sending unit location.. so i will be fixing that tomorrow instead of wheeling :doh:

Working on picks, wasnt to bad, I led and we played in the mud pits a bit. have some pics up in a few. And wait till you see the rings of lead LOL.

It was a fun day and man the 2012 felt like drivin a caddy!!! No down shifting on the hwy even with stock gears!!

and yes i have a ton of wheel weights, but my tires are 100% true now, no shakes, wobbles or anything even up to 82 mph:)

Also it was good to see Pat and kids, Blair and T again, and Bill & fam. Got to meet RustedWrangler too(totally spaced his real name, sorry dude!). He seemed like a good guy, seemed very laid back and easy going. He helped bring some humor to Bill's YJ dieing on the trail, between RustedWrangler, Blair and Bill's sister all cracking jokes, it made a "could be serious" situation much easier to handle. :pound:

What a ride home. I threw it in the chatbox. Flooded roads, flooded Jeep, no power at the house.
