so much for popping off plastic ends of the bumpers to help with approach angles.....
Exactly how wide are those plastic fenders?????????
Is that a gas tank skid under the radiator????
Doors remind me of the ones off of Toyotas new JF Cruiser.
Im betting that the back seat gained a few pounds too....look head rests which to me says complicated fold and tumble if it even still folds and tumbles....
What are those 16.5 or 17 inch wheels....
And whats with the "Jeep" smack in the middle right above the grill between the headlights.......I mean common the 7 slot grill is a trademark image of Jeep and now DC needs to remind everybody what your driving......
Can you tell I dont like it....

Looks ok... short and squatty.
I don't like all the computer controlled crap they're putting into it now. ERM or whatever it's called for rollover monitoring. Supposed to automatically brake and apply torque when needed if a rollover situation is imminent. Sounds like an accident waiting to happen in a lifted "TK" (TK???? WTF?!?!?). Hopefully you'll have the option to disable these "features".

well, they are thinking for the consumer who wants better on road performance....hence the aerodynamics (front plastic "skid") ...I like the idea of plastic fenders..however wish they would of went with the "bushwacker" flare look. I like the rear storage trunk....not to sure how I feel with those dash mounted tweeters....love the CJ style lights in the grille.....intgrated foglights....kinda neat....as for the bumper..not too worried cause the "offroaders" will replace it anyways, along with taking off the front "plastic skid", so not worried about those items....they really would of won me over if they offered it in a hemi..hehe

I think it looks great, don't know if I would buy one. I'll reserve final judgement on it until we see how it works and what we can do to fix it
Phil....... the fenders come of as well as the front bumper. Well its a better reaction than when the TJ came out......people hated change.

And Im a firm beliver of the if it aint broke dont screw with it numbnuts camp.
Ok so it gets some points from me on the trail for the fenders and bumper being easy to remove, but Im gotta say those front fenders look like a big ole pair of wings or sumthing.
Ohh yeah and so I read that article....I was right 17s on the rubicon. Now damnit....tires in 15 and 16 inch size are expensive enough, but now you gotta go and make a 17incher. You know rubber for that thing sure isnt going to be cheap if you stay with the stocker wheels.
Im not a big fan of change no, but when its just silly I gotta say something.
Im not a big dude by any streach of the means and Im already thinking my doors are quite heavy as far as I have to haul them from the house to jeep and back, and I swear those doors just gained another 25 to 50 lbs.
The modular hard top does look interesting though....

I can't wait to see what the after market companies come up with in terms of custom fabricated protection. Looks like right angle's are a thing of a past, time to break out the compass and rolling wheel....
