Here we go again.

Missed the space and room of the 4 door to much. Had to get into another one. bone stock 09 Rubicon Unlimited Sunburst Orange with hard top. 8k miles.

Rock Krawler 3.5" lift is on the way, and maybe Dan's old tires on my old JK... hopefully.

35" Goodyear Wrangler MTR w/Kevlar on order.
With 15x8 ProComp D-slot steelies.

also ordered some ProComp series 7089s in a 17" rim for the wife's F150, so that after I get the JK up on 35"s, we can put the stock 32"s on the F150:) Va is very happy to have some new rims and tires!

and yes we all wanna be like Mike, duh...

Got the lift on this weekend, and my front bumper came in, so put on the bumper and winch.

New rims 15's or 17s? Looks better now its not a little Jeep.

PS were in the hell did you plant the money tree? we all just want to steel a few branches, it will grow back.

new rims are 15s had to grind the brake calipers down on the outside edge of them to get them to fit.

and sadly to say, there is no money tree:(

I made a few grand on the LJ during the trade. so far I've just been using that money for this build.

Today I finally got around to installing all the skids.

Sway bar disconnect skid, engine oil pan skid, t-case skid, gas tank skid, evap canister skid.

Also flashed the CPU with a superchips flashpaq, feels much better, even with the extra weight from skids.

Next will be to gusset and sleeve the front axle, then truss the rear.

It's getting there.

why are you trussing the rear axle?

why are you trussing the rear axle?

why not? haha

b/c the JK axle housings are week, and I just want to beef up stuff for future mods.. actually now that I think about it, I probably won't do the rear for a while b/c if i go with another RK long arm later, it will be in the way of the 4 link truss...

I still need diff covers, i'll probably just go with Solid again since they are still cheap. unless anyone can recommend another brand?

and gears, i need gears...

I don't know what it is with the solid diff covers, but this is the third jeep I've had them on, and they all have leaked.... I'm probably going to order a set of Riddlers for this rig....

I was looking at the Riddlers too, they look the best and most functional. Maybe I should just save up for those.
