got nothing to do with a JK, any solid axle with factory mounts for their control arms would bend like like during a collision...

No excuses, I never had this problem with my TJ. I did brake the track bar mount from the rear axle however :)

Really? I may have to stand corrected! I heard they are weaker bit didn't think it would be that much. Wow, glad I'm rock'n the LJ:)

I believe the shafts and knuckles are stronger, but the housings suck ass.

need any front 44 Axle sleaves?? I have a set of brand new ones! i'll give youa killer deal. I ordered them for my last JK and sold it before I could install them. supposed to beef up the housing a ton.

Why should that void your warranty, it has nothing to do with the power train. Check out Ballistic Fabrication, they made my rubi mounts.

would think welding on the axle would void a number of things

Not at all.... I never had any issues at the Jeep dealership and just about everything was modded on mine to include the engine :pound:
Rubicon Express used to make a complete replacement for all the stock brackets.

Nah, we have a few really good mod friendly dealerships around here. Plus they have to prove in writing that what ever problem they are denying is a direct cause from the non-factory part. Look Up the magnuson-moss warranty act. (edit for super typeo)
I had an aftermarket locker plus some welded on c brackets on my first jk with 35"s and they warrentied a broken u-joint to the 2nd owner!! That was Lustine on route one.
I can weld in the axle sleeves for u and weld on the brackets if u want.

I know I welded a few things on the tombrader from being bent or torn

That was the rear axle track bar mount that I destroyed in Oakridge after being on one wheel. :)
The other two items were skid plates on the front control arms. :croc:
