Dec 4th and 5th...anywhere

I can't make Crozet on the 11th and 12th, so...anyone up for a weekend trip somewhere on Dec 4th and 5th? Don't really care where, just need to get out of the house. Either Crozet or Rausch are always good, or even hanging out in Harrisonburg and doing light wheeling in the GW forest might be OK.

It does not have to be serious wheeling, even something in Harrisonburg where we can do light wheeleing and just hang out at night would be good.

We were planning on Sat but may have to hit Sun instead. Kids have choir stuff all day Sat from, 10-4 and need rides.

Do we have a sure list of people coming? Dan you're in both days right? T wants to bring a couple from work, used to wheel, but shoot still, he is active military.

I'll be there both days. Hopefully some people from work coming out Sunday morning to shoot. I plan to spend pretty much the entire weekend there. Its my gift to myself. And there's no sure list. I've learned not to bother trying to get one.

Mar, if you're talking about B4WD membership, remember, the Gulch is unrelated to that. It's not an open property. You can go out as a guest for a first look if you haven't had that opportunity before, then we'll probably try to recruit you to help share the costs.

A evening update for us, still haven't found rides for the kids to and from. So if we do Sat at all, it would be a couple hours midday.

May just take that time to do some sorely needed fluids.

Sunday is a pretty much 100% Gulch all day.

Ugh...I hate trying to organize anything. :rolleyes: It always seems like stuff comes up at the last minute for everyone.

Speaking of which...my Jeep battery is completely dead. Hooked it up to the truck for 10 minutes and it still wouldn't start. Gonna have to go buy a new battery in the morning. Hopefully thats' all it is, and not the starter too. Otherwise, I won't even be wheeling at my own wheeling day. Grrrr.... :mad:
