We were going to take Rebekahs jeep around the block after trying to hook up some more vacuum lines (if any knows how to figure these out..PLEASE HELP :? )... and it seems as if it doesnt want to shift.... any clues? it is an auto.

make sure the kick down cable is hooked up to the carb and that it has spring tension on it.

Duh... cant belive I didnt think of that... my head is stuck in a vacuum tube! I will go out there and mess with it.

Ok, it was the lack of fluid after actually taking the time to sit there and check everything else... my wife checked the oil instead of the tranny fluid.
