Rear Dana 44

What do you think?
Looks to me like rear was over filled or not tightend at the plug
Front looks like its leaking from the gasket being over tightened or not tight enough one?

Take it to the dealership and they will drain them and seal them properly for you under warranty.

Yeah, certainly the front you could get a free diff service. If they're really into customer service, they should throw in the rear.

They might service them but most likely they will remove the front and reseal it and the rear they might just remove the plug top it off and put pipe sealant on the plug and reinstall it. If it was a Gm they would just say it was normal seepage and clean it and send it down the road.

yeah they leak, but shouldn't be that wet yet... welcome to the world of the cheap jeep, haha... they cut so many corners on the JK it's not funny... but it's still an awesome rig:)
i'd let the dealership fix it, or just use the reusable seals, i put them in my Jk and never had one leak.

Yeah I get some now and then from the CJ8 but I expect that its got 162000 on it. I just figured it wouldn't be like that already. Don't get me wrong I love my JK just figured it would not leak right away.

yeah it shouldn't be leaking like that already, i'd have them fix it, and if they won't just re-seal it or use the re-usable ones, they worked great on my JK. my LJ is 4 years old and no leaks anywhere:P
