Hey how's everyone been? Got a rescue green JK Rubicon Unlimited. Had to sell my TJ last year, no room for the dogs, I still miss it. The build starts in spring

my jk Rubi can crawl right over your sammi. and by the way, a sammi is not a jeep either:p

Only because of the lockers, without them they are nothing. :)

Wait until I put my lockers on my Zuk and I'll put that just kidding to shame.

By the way, please don't insult my Sammy by calling it a Jeep.

My XJ is a Jeep...... :) Talking smack is fun :)

Mike,

Did you get the half doors or full doors?

Full doors. Why you got half doors to sell me? It was hard to find a used, manual, in rescue green with the options I wanted. I had to go to PA to get it. You are kinda right about the soccer mom thing, 98% are autos and they are more practical. Needed more room for Sabrina, dogs, gear, groceries and kids (when the time comes). Your Samurai pic on the other thread is cool. Can't wait to see it out on the trails. I hope it can pull a JK on 37's out of a hole. :tinysmile_twink_t2: Watch out Mexican ninjas here comes the Mexican Samurai!

Half doors are hard to come by. If I ever do get a set of them, trust me you'll be the first one to know. In regards, to the Zuk pulling anything, I think not. It can barely pull its self.

Call me if you need anything and Tell Sabrina that I say Hola.

Tube doors and bikini top, only way to go. Unless it's winter and I've got the hard top on.

We were talking about you guys last week. Hope you, Michelle, and the kids are well! Feliz Navidad!

Hey Mud,

I'm looking to go with a minimum of 4"s of suspension (short arm), 1" body lift, 37-40" tires, Superior axles and appropriate gears, fender chop, bumpers, etc. If I have the $$$ I'd like a RIPP supercharger. I still want it to fit in a garage too.

I had a 4.5" RE superflex on my TJ and liked it, but I'm currently leaning towards the Teraflex 4" flex arm for something different. All the reviews I've read seem to show people are happy with it. Lots of Full Traction reviews say the FT systems make a lot of noise.

I'm still doing research, so any help/ideas are appreciated.

I have a rusty's 3.25 with 1" spacers and chopped fenders. I could easily fit 37 or 38s now. I had a RE extreme duty long arm on my last tj rubicon and was awesome. if had the money I'd go RE again. the rusty's was mad cheap and gave me lift needed at first but I miss the long arm. I've heard the TF lift is good too and you can buy it in peices. so I was thinking of doing that. one of my neighbors said he makes drive shafts and would only charge like $125 or something to make one for the JK so I may hit him up on that t save some money.

but if u want lift enough to roll on 37s on a serious budget, then the rusty's lift, spacers, and trimmed fenders is the cheapest route. but I do love the radius arms on the RE lifts:)
