Yes Frank she did it to everyone. Even Jeff asked for a receipt to give his boss without all the crap written on it and there was the gratuity already there.

Anybody remember the name of the waitress? This kind of crap needs to be brought to the manager's attention. Otherwise, all the business goes away.

11 or 12 of us. Don't reallly know how big the tip was -- she had it hidden so everyone would tip on top of that. If it were just one check I'd give her a break, but this was so deliberate.

well diego and his two co-workers didn't get charged gratuity, i think they were on a separate ticket and the rest of us were listed on one ticket which she split... i could partly make mine out which was around $4.00

Probably needs to be a party of 8 before they automatically add gratuity. I've got no problem with that, only with the apparent attempt to hide it. Glad you went back there... I think it's a good place and it'd be a shame to stop going.

Yeah, most places add gratuity automatically for parties of 8 or more. Some places its 6 or more. Usually says on the menu somewhere.

Making it know beforehand is good. Not obscuring it by drawing cute hearts on the check with a fat magic marker is even better :confused:

Funny how the magic marker never touched the final number, the total to pay.
