Front brakes grab constantly, not enough to stop the vehicle, but enough to cause them smoke when i stop. WTF is with that. The pads are new, and I don't think turning the rotors has anything to do with that.
Of course this is on a YJ with D30
Thanks for any help

I know my calipers were kinda rusty/muddy/binding and that caused some grabbing. I lubed up the pins/bolts they are supported by and no more problems.

I'll have to check that tomorrow night. There is no way to know if the brakes were like this before I bought the jeep or not, being that I've had it over 6 months and I"m just now getting to drive it

Check to make sure the slide bolts are releasing freely or else your pads will not come off the rotor after applying the brake. I had to hit mine with a wirewheel and repack w/ grease when I did my brakes earlier this year.

I think thats the ticket right there. I know for a fact I didn't grease those pins

Could it be that you have some kind of built-up on them?

No buildup. They are clean. I can be pretty sure that its just in need of grease so that the pads can retract when I let off the pressure.
