My diff breather tube that is.

I think my rear diff breather tube ends somewhere near where you put gasoline in at? Am I right?

Where does my front Diff breather tube end at? I figure its in the engine compartment somewhere, but I cant spot it?

I was thinking of extending them. Would it be a better idea to end them in the cab or I was thinking of running them to the inside of the filter intake box....below the filter but inside the box.

When you figure it out, let me know since I plan on doing the same in the near future.

The rear is up by the filler nexk for you gas

I would recommend against extending into the cabin area, breathing in those fumes couldnt be good for you. I have been told you can get one way valve to put on the ends, that let air out and keeps water out. Im researching those more, once i find some more info I will pass it along.

Thanks.

I'm told the rear can be extended up into the rear roll bar tubing, and the hardcore drop their windshield and drill a hole in the base to run the extended hose up inside the hollow windshield frame.Snorkel owners can also run a tube, or all 3 (ft,rr,tbox) up into the snorkel.

I ran my S10 blazer's into the cab about 1/2 way back, and only caught a whiff in winter at around 75 on the highway.

Like Leaded gas, there's just something special about the smell of hot gear oil!!!

I would never apply positive pressure as that blows fluid past your seals.

I think Im going to go ahead and plumb them to the engine bay and then inside the bottom part of the air intake box. You know below the filter. I figure if I get water in that part of my engine compartment then I will definately know about it.

The one way valve idea is a great idea. I had been kicking the idea around in my head for a while now.

I know most aquarium stores carry one way valves. They are to prevent water from flowing down the airline and draining your tank incase the air pump ever quits working. Their cheap too....

Something like this should be about what were looking for shouldnt it????

That is one sweet idea. Yes! New project coming soon.

I have also heard of people pluming the lines into the area under the valance thats between the hood and bottom of the windshield frame. Its a vacant unused space.

I wonder what would be easier and more effective, hood or snorkel?
