Well, I decided to bolt on a new RE Steering Stabilizer last evening since I had finished the Durango bumper and PSC steering skid and was approaching boredom and intoxication. I actually attempted to use a 3/4" wrench and remove them threaded bolt that attaches the drag-link to the shock. To my amazement, I couldn't move the bolt, my patience wore thin after about 15 minutes and I decided to go watch TV. ALL THE SUDDEN, I realized how stupid a mistake, of course the bolt is actually tapered. I casually walked to the garage and prompty hit the stupid bolt with a small sledge hammer and finished the installation with no further difficulties. Finished it off with an RE sticker just as a reminder that sometimes brute-force is the key!

Sure is a good thing I didn't have heat readily available!!

Just remember to set your torque wrenches before you can't see the stupid marks anymore. 8O
