What should I be looking for?

A small red toyota corrolla with paint peel on the hood. I see your jeep all the time on my way to work. But you never notice me of course

I have to go to 37" now with a 4:56 gear after this week at the beach. got down hear and the sand was really soft so the jeep worked really hard on the beach now the converter hub seal is seaping trans fluid. Converter got too hot on the new trans. It is sunny and 68 today and the top is off and man what a view. Jeff pulled out an f350 stuck on the beach with a 24 ftoot trailer on it. with out using his winch just a strap. there is no stoping the 350 vortec with daves lunch box locker what a difference. his jeep pulls wheelies at half throttle on dry pavement!!
Anyways wish you guys were all here there is tons of fun down here. some one is stuck on the beach every 30 minutes it seams could be very profitable!!!

You guys the wheel swaps look great!! :D

Mike,

Part of my plan is to go from 4.10's to 4.56 or 4.88. When you get a chance, give me a call, I have some questions for you.. I 'm glad that you guys are having a good time at the beach.

See you this weekend,

Diego

Nick I was aired down to 15 psi and in 4 low. There are days the sand is super soft or super hard. the soft creats a lot of restriciton on the drive train.

I was just joking wit ya. But seriously try 4 HI. Thats all I used when I went to Ocracoke Island in the Outerbanks, cuz the sand is almost always soft

yea when i went to outer banks same island too all i could use was 4wd hi b/c in 4lo it was too much torch and aonly made me dig into the sand ratehr than ride on top of it ...i also aired down to about 11-14 psi
p.s. i also saw a TJ get stuck in what they belived to be a "Small" mudhole turned out to be 6 ft deep sad to say it was towed out with a ford and towed home. lesson to be learned "never mud bog at the beach"

You also had a 5 spd instead of an automatic. plus i have been on both beaches and the sand up here is pretty deep verses the sand out on the island.

Actually the sand out on the island got really deep. My dad managed to get the burban stuck up to the frame. He also used 4 high. But i guess I forgot you had an auto
