Wondering if you can recommend a local affordable muffler shop for a basic replacement(mufflers only) with generic mufflers on dual exhaust? Quotes from national chain muffler shops have been quite steep vs. my past experience in other parts of the country. I work in Tysons, but would drive anywhere in resasonable radius for good deal
thanks

What difference does it make, do you know a shop or not?

Some shops specialize in specific styles.

Ummm, you could order the generic muffler online and then get a hacksaw to cutoff the old muffler and do it yourself.... FOR FREE.

This is actually a good question. I gotta get an exhaust pipe from the muffler back replaced on the Comanche and I really dont want to spend a small fortune on it.

Alex could you pick that part up from Vato Zone or Advance as it's just the tailpipe?

LOL. Not gonna check Vatozone. Been too pi$$ed off by them here to use em except in an emergency. NAPA, Advance, or Pepboys. NAPA is cutting me a nice military discount so thats where I just got the front brakes, battery cables, air filter, and wipers for the Comanche and the battery for the 300M.
