Explain where your screen name came from.

So some of us have obvious screen names but others their screen name is kinda out there and hard to figure out where it came from.

Im just curious where everybody came up with or got their screen name. Im sure there has to be some interesting stories behind the screen names for some of us.

I will start.

After a bad break up with a girl I really got into Alanis Morissett's album Jagged Little Pill. I was into the mini truck scene at that time, I loved the song "You Learn" from Jagged Little Pill, and my first name is Phillip. My friend started calling me Jagged Little Phil because I drove a mini truck and listened to that album all the time. We all would go out bowling and Jagged little Phil didnt fit in the computer so it got shortened to Jagged. With the prolifiration of my name on the internet I needed a way to identify me from all the other copy cats.....I added the year I was born and there you have the story behind....

Anyone that has been down to Nawlins knows that a MUDBUG is a crawdaddy...crawfish....whatever. When I was down there working at the shipyard I used to go to this HUGE country club called Mudbugs...it was a blast....and I thought the name was cool. Anyway, when naming my Red YJ...I figured it looked pretty much like a MUDBUG, especially when I've been playing in the mud. I've got a little MUDBUG crawdad mascot hanging up in there...thats the story of the MUDBUG!

well, one of my primary hobbies up till about 2 years ago was kitesurfing, hence the kitesurfer part, and I at one point had kitesurferstuckinva but got tired of how long it was so I shortened it to just kitesurferinva when I moved back from hawaii.

Okay my name is Nick. Basically I can't leave anything on my jeep alone. Soo I'm always doing a new project or finishing up my buildup(which hopefully will be inspected and ready to become un-street legal by monday)

Back in the days of Quake and QuakeWorld I started fragging on the net under the alias Jester. Went through several groups with their clan tags appended and have been happily sporting the strips of the Aggression Rangers for some years now. Fear the Jester =AR=, bight into a Slim Jim!!!!

Not wanting to be a hobgoblin of consistency, I wanted something different. Just so happens that a co-worker and fellow Aggression Ranger pointed out a mini-van in the parking lot sporting "TOBLAVE" for tags. Billy Crystal, Princess Bride... "have fun storming the castle". The added meaning for me is that the first time I tried watching this movie was at a friend's house and as teenagers do, you sort of pair off and the girl (she was quite hot) my friend was pairing with yelled out my name part way through the movie. This amused me and I yelled back that she was with the wrong guy, which was not amusing to the girl that had her hands down my pants at the time... 8O

I wanted to change it and when I was out in Oregon last summer, we did a few jet boat rides on the Rogue River. I thought that would be a cool name for my Rig. So I named my rig the RogueJP.

my logic for picking a name for the board was very similar to RogueJP. At first I was mccresr0, old email address that is created from my name. Once I realized no one could pronounce that, it was clear it had to be changed. I own an unlimited and got the tags UNL1MTD. That is what everyone on trail rides called me, so I changed my handle on the boards to match.

Many people know me as "Jonny English". This is a name I've held for well over 10+ years. WAY back when...you would derive your porn name from your middle name + the street you grew up on. My middle name is Jon and I grew up on English Rd. Thus, "Jonny English" was born. :twisted: You can imagine the excitment when the movie "Johnny English" came out a few years ago. You might remember my license plate as "JON ENG". Well, that's what it meant. BUT now I have a funnier license plate (Check out my Avatar).
