Guys, looking for a good idea to what this is.

On my last 78' I had a 30 up front.

I assumed this one was too, but after I knocked off the mud, it appears that maybe it's a 44?

I don't see a flat area around the drain plug like I thought the 30 had.

I tried printing out some pics of other 44's and this looks close.

Very hard for me being a inexperienced Jeeper to tell what is what.

It looks alot like the 44 rear I had bought to swap in when I was thinking of staying Narrowtrack.

If this is indeed a 44 in the front, I may have to consider my plans.

Am I goofing myself into 44 hysteria?

Figures all you guys are at the M&G right now too................. :(

And no wise ass comments about the steering linkage in the way. Hard enough working outside in the gravel.

Bummer when looking at a picture of a 44 in the dark laying on my back in the gravel, that 30 sure did look like a 44. I wanted it to be......

What a newb.....!

Doesn't matter. Another week or so and the waggy 44 will be sitting there. Hope to button up the brakes and e brake on the rear 9" this week or weekend.

Thanks for reply guys.
