So i know I've been MIA for a while on the site (newly wed as of Oct. and we moved to Florida not long ago), but recently Dad's jeep has been acting up. The transmission light came on and the clutch pedal is really tight. I didn't drive it much further than 300 ft. once i felt it, but it just doesn't seem normal. Thoughts on why it might be tight?

It hasn't been four-wheeling in a while, but the tightening just started. It's a 2000 TJ with the 4.0 and 5 spd (suppose that's obvious). Thanks for the help!

alright...turns out I'm a numnuts. The code turned out be P0456, EVAP emissions. AKA my father-in-law left the gas cap slightly off and the tight clutch was because I got used to driving dad's JK, which doesn't feel as tight as the TJ
