View Full Version : Thursday night Family night @ the chick filia
Yep, It says thursday night...... Its family night at the normal meet n greet location, up at chick Filia! Sugarland Crossing off Sterling Blvd (rt7) Starts at 430pm and till everyone is ready to go home. The troops (from walter reed medical center) will be ariving from WRAMC at 430-5pm. There will be ton of stuff for the kiddies, like a moon bounce, face painting, and free shakes for the jeep owners! Please come on up and show your support for the troops and have a good time with the kids!

It sounds on Nova site like people are coming. Jackie and I will be there (with or without a jeep, depending on whether I start tearing into transfer case tonight). I guess they won't give free shakes to people in TTs or old Hondas :(

Rick you know a lot of beltway will be there. they just don't like to tell people they will be there. I am pushed from the early flight out 1 pm from sea tac and it will arrive at dulles at 9:00 pm so I will be out.

I'm gonna try and be there but if this bleeping class don't get any easier I'm gonna have to study all nite had a dang 10 question quiz today with a 2 hr limit and just barley got done :eek: told the guy if i wanted to do classes like this i would've gone to college :mad:

Dont know if Im going to be able to make it. Im going to try, but Im supposed to be training my replacement, clearing and getting ready to go to my new assignment. They just keep getting more work to do. I may be working late tomorrow night if I dont want to be working on Sat.

Its a code test for mechanics no pass no being a mechanic we'll find out tomorrow the part that really sucks is wont find out if i pass for at least a week :mad: so I'm studying till 9 or so then drinkin a few :)

WHO CHANGED IT TO THURSDAY NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WENT UP THERE ON FRIDAY AND THERE WAS ME AND ANOTHER JEEP. AND THE MANAGER SAID THEY CHANGED IT TO THURSDAY NIGHT AND DID NOT KNOW WHY. WOULD LIKED TO HAVE KNOWNED THAT!!!!!!!!!! THANKS FOR THE WORD!!!! I live in Alexandria and it's long ride up there from here. would like to explain!:mad:

I agree.... Seems that this group has failed to send out updates of late..... I used to get emails every-other-day when I first joined......

Ok, look! If you can stop bitching for one moment and read the first post, It will explain who what where and why! It was posted all week and it was a speacial event for some soldiers who were wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. We have events all the time not just on friday, wednesday, most of the time it will be on wed or fri. Thats why we have a club forum!

To All - For any event or trail Ride, The way that this club operates is to post the date and location in the first post.
The first post is continously updated between its creation and the actual event for any critical information that may change such as dates, location, participants, linkup times/places, etc. Please carefully read the first post for any event and check for updates. Thanks and happy Jeepin! :D

It was set this past Thursday so that people could come in an support the troops as well as go to the PA show, because alot were leaving for the show friday .it wasnt to mess any one up it was to help the troops see a big gathering of jeepers and they did, about 20- 25 showed also this was posted a couple days or so before , you were informed you just chose to assume rather than be sure.. It is still for Friday nights but that was a special situation for the troop, if I was driving that far I would have checked to be sure it was right, no reason flip. ITs happened to everyone. CHILLAX dude
