Could have been worse, considering the rocks we saw and I have a stock suspension. :D

Oil Pan- About 2.5" shallower due to major dentage. Oil pressure is good, so no pump/pickup damage.

T-box plate-concave enough so I had to remove my XM radio from the ashtray to allow the 2-3 shift to happen.

Diffs-Mainly cosmetic,but some bolt damage.

Gas tank skid- Major grooves and dents.

So, my shopping list includes;
an nth degree oil pan skid and tummy tuck. In the mean time, I'm pulling the factory plate and hammering it out.
rock-it diff gliders front and rear.
as yet to be determined gas tank skid.

Well...mine is not a TJ but I will post here since it's already started....as far as I have seen so far all I did was bend/shear off a u-bolt thread or two. Just the part hanging down that I was gonna cut off anyway so no a big deal. I am shopping for U-Bolt skids as we speak. Also I bent my tail pipe a little...just need to bend it back some. Nothing major. I did notice slightly more wander on the road home...so I think I'll have the front end aligned now.

other than the normal diff scrapes and dents on the gas skid and the only step thats on the jeep suffered a small dent. But I do have a good frt pinion seal leak again?

Just in (Damage Report)! I took my Jeep into the dealership, since I noticed a leak on my rear driver side axle, and I found out that somehow a rock got inside the axle seal, thus causing a groove within the axle. Once again, thank God for the warranty, they are replacing the axle for free.

That's cool that the dealer is covering that. I find it hard to believe that a rock got in the seal and I find it even harder to believe that your entire axle is junked because of the seal going bad. But that seems to be dealer protocol for fixing a problem.

I had my seals start leaking after a trip to crozet and the dealer wouldnt help me at all cause I had a lift. I fixed it myself by dropping in some chromoly alloy usa axles in. So I guess that I did the overkill method too. :D

The guys from Chantilly have been awesome for the last few years. They have fixed everything that I have destroyed, and have not charged me a penny. Easily, they have probably replaced about $3,000 worth of stuff on my Rubi. Yes! I do have a lift, 33" tires, and bunch of other stuff.

Yeap!

Sweet. They have always struck me as mod friendly. While service does cost a penny or two the free rentals do help.

So Gonzowerke let me know how you like those rockit diff sliders...i have been eyeballing them for some time....

Yeah,
I'm doing the oil pan skid first, and the bank likes to get it's mortgage payment, so it may be a month or so before I get them.

I hate being an adult........
