Door finally broke

I've been having problems with the door unlocking and opening, and last night if finally broke for good. It wont open from the inside at all, but works OK from the outside.

Does anybody have a diagram of how the guts of the door works????

Bob run to the dealer and buy a new lock cyinder arm and a plastic rid clip. These are the 2 things that go wrong in the yj/ cj doors.

I pulled the panels and theres a little rod that goes from the lock to the pull handle on the inside. It's broken at the pull handle end.

I'm not sure if it's broke or the rod just came out of the plastic clip, can't see without a mirror.

I had to get a new inside pull handle assembly because you can't get just the clips unless you buy a box of 100.

Anyway I got it and got the door locking rod in place very easy, but can't get the door opening rod in place.

Anybody ever done this or know the trick? There seems to be a brace inside the door and I'm not sure which side the rod goes on.

I dunno, but I went to Advance Auto and bought a pack of clips for $1.89; some guy in the auto tech program fixed it. This is my second set of door clips I've needed in 13 years.
