No, you didn't miss anything Alex, I just finally found the info I wanted that I couldn't when I posted. I decided to just replace the tissue paper control arms with aftermarket ones, leave the 2 inch coil spacers alone, throw on a Full Traction 3 link rear, and stuff 33's or 35's under there. A tummy tuck and SYE with gears and shafts and she's done. Half the price of a longarm kit.
just get the springs and shocks. Its more cost effective that way! RE 3.5 is awesome.

Yeah, I can't look at one without thinking "I'd hit that!"

With the price of gas - Im sticking to 33's for now.
I like my bl/mml and belly up skid plate. The RE 3.5 is a great lift but If I had to do it again on short arm I think I would would go with the JKS control arms/track bars and RE springs. Eventually Im going to switch to the JKS front bar. I dont like the hiem joint on the RE bar. I have to spray it after each time it rains or it starts getting really noisy.

That souns so wrong in so many ways. :D
What are you spraying the hime joit with? its designed to be dry. If you spray it w/ a lube it will collect dirt and such and wear it out and cause noise.

At first I did not lubricate it at all. Then it started getting noisy.
Now I lube it with spray on white lithium grease. Its Ok until it gets wet, then it starts creaking.
