Roy...I am working on a rear stinger for an XJ...the base of it could be used for a similar platform for the swing out carrier...it would just need to be drilled top and bottom and have a short shaft trailer axle welded in from ttop and bottom to support the carrier. It would take a few mods, but could be made.

Rick, where did you get the latch assy and where did you get the steel?Did you cut the pieces yourself?
Do you have a set of plans for the rear bumper?
The work looks very good and I would like to construct something similar for the cj.
