I would say make sure you have all the skids you want/need.

Pac...I haven't seen your rig, but I agree with Muddin...you can never go wrong with body armor!

Besides the body armor, any other good suggestions? I just want my Jeep to be ready to take on just about anything by the summer.

Rick, The way I mounted mine is nice and steady, it barely shakes. This set up will work even better for you since you have a smaller laptop. The best part about it is that it doesn't interfere with anything, OK, maybe the passenger air bag a little.
