I'm following along a how-to to do a junkyard TBI on the CJ. One of the pieces that can't be bought or salvaged from a Ch**y is a adaptor plate for the TB to sit on the Jeep intake.

I have some CAD drawings of what needs to be done, labeled and dimensioned.

Anybody know of a place that could take these drawings and a hunk of aluminum and get it done?

Thanks,
Blair

Thanks!!

Bear with me, I'm illiterate at computers.

See if this shows up......

I tried to create a album, but couldn't get it to work.

the plan calls for 2024 Aluminum. I just saw that up in the corner.

As long as the planes of the adaptor are good for no vaccum leaks, then the it doesn't need to be super pretty.

Not sure why the piece is angled like it is, but this is posted from a write-up I'm foloowing along. I couldn't do it on my own.........

And the four holes that are shown around the main oval, should not be beveled, just countersunk IIRC. But it may not say to bevel them on this particular pictures.

Would you rather I pm you with these?

Thanks,
Blair

You know man,

to tell you the truth I didn't know they were still there. My Dad used to go up there years ago and get his gas I think. My sister used to rent her house from one of the owners.

Dangit, they never even occured to me. Spending time typing and I could have been on the phone.......do the Feagens still run it, the brothers from years ago? I sold a truck to Charlie Feagen about 5 years back.

DAAAANNNNNGGGGIIIIITTTTTTT!!!!!!!!

02tj, I guess it couldn't hurt to see what you bud says.....

There is a place in sterling just off 606 RBM MACHINE. Ask for Greg Hanlon. Tell him Mike Blondin's brother sent you. He can hook you up!!

Thanks for the heads up, I'll look into it. I haven't bothered with getting any adaptors started yet, I just found my donor and need to trailer it home and start pulling the computer and wiring to the TB.

But I'll look them up, thanks again.

Dude we have a machinist at work who does side work. Here is here in Chantilly. If you want, PM me and I'll give you my email so you can send me the CAD file. I'm also friends with another machinist who lives in sterling who does great work too

Thanks Nick,

I'll be working on it soon possibly. I've been considering an all out motor swap now.

Came across a decent running 401 with all accessories by word of mouth for a reasonable price.

I need to concentrate on the bottom end, but will look ya up when I'm ready for the adaptor if I keep the six cylinder.
