How come there is no year next to the dates we all joined?

There should be(IMO) a year next to the date you joined... not a sermon... just a thought....

Id rather have my birthyear not show up in places. That would be cool.

We just opted not to do it. For no particular reason......just something else we have to track.

Track? How so? It's already saved in the database (hint click on the members list, it shows it in condensed form with the month abbreviated and no day of the week on it)

All it would take is a very minor change of about 15 characters in the viewtopic_body template. Look at the members_list template and copy the tag that displays the member join date, and use it on viewtopic_body instead of what's there now.

Sounds like someone has tinkered around with phpbb in the past. :)

I've built quite a few and released a few mods before as well. Currently have 3 mods I'm working on releasing for phpbb3 as well.

Translation for most of us:

Look at the members list, change the thingy from the one deal to the other, that sorts the stuff, so the whatchamacallit will track the info.

I understood it kinda. I don't understand exactly what you have to do with it, or where, but I understand who and why and what, so thats half the battle!

But yeah seriously, I didn't think it was that much a difficult thing to change...

That looks like 2 against 1! lol. But seriously, is it that hard to do? We've already had one person explained how to do it...

Sorry guys but this is not really a bug. it is a suggestion. the bug is the gallery does not work correctly and we are still trying to fix it.

There really isn't a suggestion forum that relates to the website though. Perhaps change the name of the forum to (Website Issues) with a topic of something like:

Post here for forum bugs, issues or suggestions you might have regarding our website.

I don't know if you guys have the ability to split up into nested forums here, but if you can that might be an idea to help sort them better as well without having 2-3 more forums clutter up the main index page for things that are closely related and most regular users probably won't pay attention to anyways.

FYI I checked out a stock copy of dragonfly and I don't know which version you guys are on, but it appears that 9.1.2.1 (newest release as of March I think?)

If you want to use my test site as a testbed to upload the database to and test it feel free. I can send you the info. I have some of the GD image options turned off for autogenerating thumbnails, but that shouldn't make a difference in the upgrade.
